"The performance "Faust" directed by V. Malakhov is performed by Alexander Kryzhanivsky one of the Ukraine’s most electric performers. Described as "jazz theatre" the production is largely improvised as Kryzhanivsky directly addresses the audience as an ulcerated professor ever more desperately trying to maintain control of his exploration of Goethe’s Faust, resulting in chaos and a performance of outstanding virtuosity.
